With the weather being a bit hit and miss lately, we decided to brave the weather and head off to the park.
We came across Tilehouse playground which is situated between Worplesdon and Guildford, and quietly tucked down a residential street. With a beautiful setting on a large green field which is perfect for kicking a ball about, or running around and burning off energy.
The park itself is like two playgrounds in one, and each one is separated by an enclosed fence. This is ideal if you have children of different ages, and need to have a careful eye on them whilst playing – the fence is waist height which means you have full visibility.
Towards the back of the park there is a separate basketball court, and in this area there is equipment designed for older children. A climbing pole, trampolines in the floor, a large swinging rope log which was a lot of fun, a basket swing.
Plus an awesome air roundabout which had four different swings attached to it, some were seated swings and the others were like zip wire poles you could sit on. Isabella loved spinning around on these.
The smaller part of the park is designed for younger children, and has their own set of equipment too. There is a climbing frame with slide, toddler swings, interactive boards, a spinner, mushrooms to balance on, hoppers and a roundabout.
There is also a really nice pond where you can feed the ducks and geese. Around the pond there are various pictures showing the different insects and creatures which can be found on the water. We had a lovely time trying to spot the insects and watching all the different wildlife which were around.
