Little World for Scholars is a magical role play space in Altrincham centre. It’s quite a small role play centre and it can be very popular so we definitely recommend booking in advance. They have timed sessions and they close in between each session to tidy up and reset before the new session starts. I loved this as it meant everything was clean and tidy for any new session and that the numbers were managed so it never felt too busy!
The centre itself is small but mighty, with some gorgeous, designated role play areas like the vets and the shopping centre at the front and then a large airport at the back!
We went with friends and our girls loved playing shopkeepers in the shop and then they both loved exploring the airport, pretending to drive and land the plane whilst my youngest liked being pushed around in a car on the racetrack! I always love to see my little one using her imagination and all the equipment was well maintained and looked new and fresh.
We also stopped for lunch in the café, enjoying coffee, sandwiches and cake all quite reasonably priced with quick service. The toilets were at the back of the centre and were well equipped for baby changing too.
As it’s in the centre of Altrincham, we did pay for parking but found The Stamford Quarter multi story quite handy as they have several large family car parking spaces which was perfect for getting the pram out the car and both children in and out of their seats safely. I was unable to find any free parking though or any parking that was right outside, so bear this in mind if it’s raining that you may need a pram and raincoats depending on the weather.
