The Jam Factory in Oxford is one of my family’s favourite places to go for drinks and cake, brunch or lunch. Located in the heart of the West End, it’s close to the train station and city centre shops. It’s the perfect spot to tie in with an ice skating trip to Oxford Ice Rink as it’s just a few minutes walk away.
The Jam Factory achieves the perfect blend of bohemian style, relaxed atmosphere and great food and coffee. There are lots of informal seating areas with sofas and coffee tables as well as a more formal dining area. The artwork on the walls changes regularly and it’s fun to check it out with the kids. There is also a games shelf with various retro games to keep children amused.
The coffee and cake are excellent. Brunch/lunch is also highly recommended. There is a kids menu with plenty of options to suit the little ones. Mine chose beans on toast with cheese and sausage with skinny chips. Prices were reasonable and the portions hearty!
