The Great Chesham Pancake Race is back for 2025 on Saturday 1st March.

Brought to you by voluntary group, Chesham Connect, all ages and speeds, grannies and grandkids are welcome to make up a team to race. It’s the taking part that counts!

Teams of four will run a relay race, but instead of a baton, they will pass a frying pan and pancake. And each runner has to stop twice to toss the pancake – without dropping it on the ground. The winners of each heat will go on to the next round, building up to the final race. All for the honour of being the winners of The Great Chesham Pancake Race 2025!

Frying pans and pancakes (don’t eat them!) for the race will be provided. And entry is completely free!

You can enter a team, or as a solo and be matched up with teammates on the day. Families, friends, businesses are all welcome. Details for advance registration tbc.

But if you don’t want to take part – just come along to watch and cheer your favourites home!

Registration from 10:30am, races from 11am. Entries accepted on the day if there is space.
