Science Oxford Presents: Family Stargazing evening with local astronomers, planetarium show and children’s space inspired activities.

A captivating night under the stars at Science Oxford Family Stargazing evening.

There’s an immersive inflatable planetarium and  an out-of-this-world live presenter-led show!

Step outside to gaze at the night sky and look through telescopes with local astronomers from Abingdon Astronomical Society and Marcham Astronomy Group who will share their passion and knowledge as your cosmic tour guides.

Plus a special guest—Oxford’s very own Space Store! They’ll be bringing VR headsets and adding an exciting hands-on experience.

Enjoy an astro-amazing evening of stargazing, planetarium show, and fun and educational astronomy-themed activities.

Tickets are available online only.

Planetarium shows 6.15pm, 7pm, 7.45pm*. Reserve your time-slot online.
*Planetarium queue starts 10 minutes before your time-slot.

Either a ‘General Admission Only’ or ‘General Admission + Planetarium Show’ ticket is required for each person.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. No entry to the planetarium for under 3s.

Due to the nature of the inflatable planetarium, capacity is limited to 25 people per show for safety and comfort. Booking early is recommended to avoid disappointment.
