Science Oxford Christmas Holiday Family Days

Visit the Science Oxford Centre for festive family fun on 28th and 29th December. Enjoy a unique family experience with indoor and outdoor activities for curious minds. Explore, discover and play in the Exploration Zone, where children and grown-ups alike have fun experimenting with interactive exhibits; create and test flying designs at the Air Table, build a giant magnetic ball run, and see what’s hot and what’s not with the Curious Camera.
Work off those festive Christmas treats with a woodland walk! Create your own adventure with Explorer Backpacks and uncover nature’s secrets with a magnifying glass, compass and bug pot – follow the winter trails and see what wildlife you can spot.
What is included in your ticket:
- Two-hour timeslot in the Exploration Zone
- Access to the woodland and outdoor areas from 10am–4.30pm
Pop-up Live Lab in the Exploration Zone: Red Cabbage Chemistry
Car Parking:
Parking is available at the Science Oxford Centre on a first-come, first-served basis. There is also alternative parking in the area, including limited 2-hour and 3-hour free parking available on Quarry Road.

Bring a picnic/refreshments: The Cafe is closed – visitors are welcome to bring picnics and snacks to eat at our lunch tables.
