Reading Twilight Trail 2021
3 December, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 31 December, 2021 @ 10:00 pm
Reading’s Twilight Trail: Let the magic begin.
The Reading Twilight Trail is back – bigger, better and biscuitier for 2021 The festive light trail made its debut in Reading last year, and unfortunately had to cut its run short due to the Coronavius Pandemic. This year, the Twilight Trail: Biscuit Town returns to Reading’s stunning Abbey Ruins and Forbury Gardens from 3-31 December 2021 with a biscuit-themed trail to celebrate Reading’s link with the world-famous Huntley and Palmers biscuit factory.
The lighting installations are being specially created by light art pioneers, Luminism, who have been cited by The Guardian as one of the UK’s leading light trail producers. This year’s immersive, engaging and unique installations will include The Lion’s Roar and the Production Line stepping stones and will celebrate Reading’s old nickname of Biscuit Town as we approach the centenary of Huntley and Palmer’s beginnings in London Street in 1822.
Brought to you by Reading UK, Abbey Quarter BID and proudly supported by The Blade, the Twilight Trail: Biscuit Town is a fun, fully accessible, open-air light trail experience designed for all ages.
