BOOK TICKETS FOR GAIA EARTH IN READING

We visited the Gaia Earth exhibition in Oxford last year and it was stunning.  It’s such a great opportunity for both adults and children to visit and get a different perspective of our world.  If you can make it, this is one not to miss.

Gaia Earth exhibition in Oxford 2023

The seven-metre diameter installation is 1.8 million times smaller than the real Earth, and a specially made surround sound composition by BAFTA award-winning composer Dan Jones will be played alongside the striking sculpture.

The installation forms part of Reading Climate Festival. It aims to inspire people to think about climate action and will be accompanied by an exciting public engagement programme, where the artwork will provide a jaw-dropping backdrop to a full schedule of events including family activities, inspiring talks, concerts and even a gong bath yoga session.

Gaia has been brought to the town by Reading Borough Council, Reading Climate Change Partnership (RCCP), Reading Business Improvement District (part of REDA) and University of Reading, as part of Reading Climate Festival to inspire residents to think about and take climate action. There will also be a programme of events from family activities to musical concerts which will be announced and added to over the coming months.

Entry is £2 for adults and free for under 14s, with booking essential on the What’s On Reading website.
