There will be family fun at Cogges in Wintey, open every day over the school Easter holidays from 22nd March to 14th April.

Spring is here, the daffodils are dancing, and Cogges Manor Farm is bustling with activity. Visit for Easter bank holiday weekend, and meet the new baby ‘Giant’ rabbits, baby guinea pigs – and Easter chicks!

The egg hunt in the stable runs 22 March – 14 April, 10-2pm (£3). 

Children’s holiday activities include paper crafts, cress bunnies, clay animals, sun-catchers and more (small cost to cover materials for some activities). See baking on the range, listen along with Story Time, and spot the knitted bunnies in the decorated manor house (times and dates vary, see below).

It’s time to get out the best china, as a new Downton Abbey movie is rumoured! Catch a ‘Downton’s Yew Tree Farm’ tour on Saturday 30 March, 12pm, and hear behind-the-scenes gossip on past filming at Cogges. (Shhhh, meet by the pigsty, pass it on).
Saturday 30 March, 12pm. Live music troupe The Itinerants, with many of Cogges’ more musical volunteers, will be also playing in the farmyard on Saturday 30th March, 2pm & 3.30pm.

Adventure play & zipwire, meet the animals at weekends 11 & 2pm, explore and play in 15 acres of grounds and meadows. Pop into the farm’s shop and Cogges Kitchen café for tasty Easter treats, open every day. See What’s On.

Spring into Summer, as Cogges are delighted to announce a new season of events! Save the date for The Jungle Book family theatre in the Barn (4th May). Come along for a celebration of farming and the countryside at the Spring Fair (11 May) and lots, lots more.

The farm is open 9.30am – 4pm until 28th March (last entry 3.30pm) and until 5pm from 29th March (last entry 4.30pm). Cafe and shop open daily.

As always, an annual season ticket is great value with free entry to the farm and discounts to events over 12 months.
