Does anyone get excited when you hear of a new playground? Thame Town Council have announced that work is underway for a new playground at Elms Park.
The new play park as been designed mostly for ages 5 to 12 years but there will be something for younger children too.
New equipment will include a rope pyramid, a Titan carousel, a multi play unit and a smaller version for younger children.
The play area has been designed with inclusivity and accessibility as one of its fundamental design principles with multiple items which cater for those with additional needs.
Date for opening of the new Elms Park playground still to be confirmed.
